Thoughts on AI...

There is no doubt that generative AI in the form of Large Language Models is changing the way we (humans) interact with content. So much content is both “read” and “written” by AI everyday that it likely significantly outpaces the volumes consumed and produced by carbon-based intelligence (humans).

AI writing is a thing, and it has strange nuances, as have been identified by the tireless editors of Wikipedia. I find that I do not want to read content written by AI, it feels disrespectful to my time. Consequently, I chose to respect the time of those who read my blog and write and edit all of the content myself (and with help from my lovely wife), without the use of AI. That only seems fair.
